Brian Markinson (born 1 September 1961, Brooklyn, New York) is an American-Canadian actor and producer. He is best known as Police Chief Bill Jacobs on Da Vinci's Inquest (1998–2005) and Da Vinci's City Hall (2005–2006), and for roles in Mad Men (2013), Painkiller (2023), and Fargo. In film, he has appeared in Apollo 13 (1995), Enemy of the State (1998), Shooter (2007), and three Woody Allen films. On stage, he performed in Lost in Yonkers on Broadway. He lives in Vancouver, BC.
