Ivan Djurovic

Actor, producer and writer · Born October 20, 1986 (40) · Chicago, Illinois, USA

Ivan Djurovic is a Serbian-American actor, filmmaker, and suit and creature performer. Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, and raised in the Chicago area, he is the son of Serbian immigrants from Belgrade. A native English speaker who is also fluent in Serbian, he moved to Los Angeles in 2006 to pursue a career in film and television and today divides his time between the United States and Europe. His television credits include a guest-starring role as CIA officer Richard Meyers on CBS’s SEAL Team, which he filmed in Serbia, as well as appearances on 24 and Days of Our Lives. His film work includes The LBC and It Watches, a feature he co-wrote, produced, and starred in. His work also extends to voice performance, including 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, and a commercial career encompassing nearly 30 national commercials. Alongside his traditional on-camera work, Djurovic has developed a parallel career in suit, creature, and prosthetic performance spanning nearly two decades. His early creature work included Animal Planet’s Lost Tapes, where he portrayed characters including a vampire and Bigfoot. He has since performed in full-body creature suits and extensive prosthetic makeup, including transformations requiring hours of application, and has worked with Vincent Van Dyke Effects, where a custom creature suit was fabricated for him using a full 3-D body scan. This specialized work has remained a distinctive part of a career spanning film, television, voice, commercial, and character performance.

Reviewers score the acting 37/100 in their films, across 5 reviewed titles; fans 66, detractors 20. The element that speaks to their work as an actor.

Percentiles are each film's standing among all films on MovieCove; the typical film is the median, so one outlier cannot drag it. Percentiles and reviewer scores count the films IMDb credits them on, for now; the Midcredits score bands, the shape of the crowd and the two cards count their MovieCove titles, shows included (a show ranked among shows), appearances as themselves left out. A descriptor is the shape of a title's IMDb rating distribution against the catalog; "most divisive" needs a spread wider than half of all titles, and a card names only a principal credit: a craft role, and on a show a crew role or a run of episodes, never a courtesy credit or a one-off guest spot.
