Matteo Locasciulli

Composer

Being the son of the Italian singer and songwriter Mimmo Locasciulli, Matteo was immersed at a very young age of music and composing. Today he is a multi instrumentalist and plays the guitar, keyboards and double bass. He especially perfected the double bass with the internationally renowned Jazzman Greg Cohen (Tom Waits, David Byrne, The Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson et Elvis Costello). In 2012, Matteo moved to Paris and founded his own recording studio in the north of the capital, with talented musicians. Since then, he worked tirelessly on more that 70 documentaries, fictions and series for the French television, and for commercials (Chanel, Gucci, Lancôme) in Italy and France. In 2020, he wrote the score of the popular animated show's special episode Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir , named Miraculous World : New-York, United Heroez , in collaboration with Sylvain Goldberg. After writing the score for François-Xavier Demaison's show, Di(x)vin(s), he signed, with Sylvain Goldberg, the soundtracks of Champagne ! the feature film by Nicolas Vanier and Rumba la vie directed by the actor and director Franck Dubosc. He recently worked on the soundtracks of Almamula, by Juan Sebastian Torales, and Week-end In Taipei by George Huang.

Reviewers score the sound and music 62/100 in their films, across 5 reviewed titles; fans 68, detractors 30. The element that speaks to their work as a composer.

Percentiles are each film's standing among all films on MovieCove; the typical film is the median, so one outlier cannot drag it. Percentiles and reviewer scores count the films IMDb credits them on, for now; the Midcredits score bands, the shape of the crowd and the two cards count their MovieCove titles, shows included (a show ranked among shows), appearances as themselves left out. A descriptor is the shape of a title's IMDb rating distribution against the catalog; "most divisive" needs a spread wider than half of all titles, and a card names only a principal credit: a craft role, and on a show a crew role or a run of episodes, never a courtesy credit or a one-off guest spot.
