Alden is an award-winning film director known for directing the short film FEMME and the feature documentary COMING OUT. FEMME took the world by storm at over 40 film festivals worldwide, picking up awards along the way. It is being adapted to a series with Emmy and Golden Globe winner Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) attached as Executive Producer. COMING OUT won multiple grand jury and audience awards at film festivals around the world. It played at Outfest, NewFest, BFI Flare London LGBT Film Festival and many more. It was picked up for distribution by Wolfe Releasing. Alden's writing has appeared in Hello Mr. and The Daily Beast, his photography has been posted in GAYLETTER, and his film work has been featured in Out Magazine, NPR, Mashable, BuzzFeed, and many more. He has spoken around the world about filmmaking, crowdfunding, and telling queer stories. Alden received a BFA in film production from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and he based in Brooklyn, New York. He loves sci-fi films with aliens and/or robots.
