Tom Young

Tom was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. After a 30 year career as a mailman, Tom retired and accidentally discovered that he loved acting and wanted to pursue a new career. For the past 10 years, he has worked constantly to improve his on set performance and overall professional approach to the business of film and television. After a slow start with several smaller roles, his big break came when he booked a supporting role in a Hallmark production "A Lifelong Love". As a mature actor Tom seems to have found his niche as the Hallmark "Dad/Grandpa". Since he has 3 children and 7 grand children, it's a natural fit.

Reviewers score the acting 60/100 in their films, across 4 reviewed titles; fans 80, detractors 26. The element that speaks to their work as an actor.

Percentiles are each film's standing among all films on Motif; the typical film is the median, so one outlier cannot drag it. Percentiles and reviewer scores count the films IMDb credits them on, for now; the Motif score bands, the shape of the crowd and the two cards count their Motif titles, shows included (a show ranked among shows), appearances as themselves left out. A descriptor is the shape of a title's IMDb rating distribution against the catalog; "most divisive" needs a spread wider than half of all titles, and a card names only a principal credit: a craft role, and on a show a crew role or a run of episodes, never a courtesy credit or a one-off guest spot.
